Frisch bei Edition Hammeraue erschienen: meine Illustration für eine deutsch-iranische Gemeinschaftsproduktion, mit Lentikulardrucken auf jeder Seite und tollen Kollegen.

Risography print for »KanaZootra« calendar 2014

Hier ist eine von zwei Illustrationen die ich für den »KamaZootra« Kalender 2014 der Edition Hammeraue gezeichnet habe. Ich wollte schon lang die Risografie-Technik probieren. Endlich! :--)

Die beiden hübschen Kakerlaken konnten mit den anderen Illustrationen der anderen Monate gemischt werden. Mehr zum Projekt hier.

This one of two illustrations I did for the 2014 calendar of Edition Hammeraue, Berlin. I am quit happy to finally have tried the Risography print. Cool thing. The cute two cockroaches can be mixed with parts of illustrations from other months/illustrators. This calendar is fun.

Anbei meine beiden Illustrationen für Mai & November. Wieder dabei dabei sind: Doro Billard, Kerstin Hille, Anja Tchepets, Amdreas Töpfer & Kjell-Olav Torgård. Die Ausstelllung gibt es demnächst.

Der Typografieverlag Hermann Schmidt Mainz hat die Schrift Charlottine für ein schönes Buchprojekt meines Kollegen Felix Scheinberger benutzt. Sehr schön, für solche Projekte hatte ich die Schrift auch angelegt. Und: Tolles Buch! Wärmstens empfohlen für Leute die gern Zeichnen!!! Auch mit einem sehr guten Text und in leckeres Material gesteckt.

The typography publishing company Hermann Schmidt Mainz has used the type Charlottine for a nice book project of my colleague Felix Scheinberger. Great, I developed that type for such kind of projects. And: Great book! Most warmly recommended for people who like, do or want to learn to draw! Also with a very good text and all put in mouth-watering material.

Siebdruckillustrationen für Kanarische Umweltorganisation

Silk screen illustrations for Canary environmental organisation

Für die Bürgerbewegung/Umweltorganisation Plattform gegen die Asphaltwerke im Aridanetal auf der kanarischen Insel La Plama habe ich ein Nikki mit positiver Vorder- und negativer Rückseite gestaltet.
Im Aridanetal sind trotz wiedersprechender Umweltauflagen auf der Westseite der von der Unesco geschützten Insel La Palma mehrere Asphaltwerke genehmigt worden. Langfristig ist auch eine Autobahn geplant – die nur der beauftragten Baufirma nutzt. Auf der Insel regt sich trotz der südlichen Mentalität unerwartet starker Wiederstand. Juhu!
Vom Verkaufspreis von 15 Euro gehen 4 Euro an die Bürgebewegung um die Kosten für Anwalt und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit decken zu helfen.

For the civil movement / environmental organisation against the asphalt works in the valley of Aridane on the Canary island La Plama I have created a T-Shirt with positive front and negative back.
In the valley of Aridane several asphalt works have been approved in spite of against the environment protection agreement on the west side of the Unesco protected island La Palma. In the long term a highway is also planned – which is only of use to the commissioned construction company. On the island unexpectedly strong resistance stirs in spite of the southern mentality. Phew!
From the retail price of 15 euros 4 euros go to the civil movement helping to cover the costs for lawyer and public relations.
